"As Technical Director at EGE for the last 9 years I have been instrumental in the significant growth and success that the company has enjoyed over that period. I joined EGE - and the mobile industry - back in 2016 having spent my career up to that point in the IT industry, starting as a Software Developer / Project Manager working with and for IT resellers and latterly as Technical & Customer Services Director and then Managing Director of a group of IT Service companies.

I’ve been responsible for the design, development and implementation of software and systems in sectors that range from banking, finance, commodity markets & healthcare through to global customer loyalty schemes & generic ERP/CRM/WMS systems across a multitude of businesses. This has allowed me to work with some excellent and talented people across a broad range of sectors, on a range of product and service offerings.

At EGE I’ve been involved at all levels building the systems to support the business and supporting sales, commercial & operational aspects of the company through its growth.

As a member of the British Computer Society, I have participated as a judge at a number of final year / graduate-level competitions, giving me an insight into what it takes to tease out the differentiators between what are always excellent projects and entries submitted.

Over the course of my time at EGE I have attended many award ceremonies and seen the great quality of the entrants and the products / services on show. I’m really pleased to be involved with the Mobile Industry Awards and helping to continue that showcasing of the best of the industry."
