Shop Idol Rules 2024 Mobile Salesperson of the Year
1. Entry for Shop Idol Retail 2024 competition opens 1st May 2024
2. Entrants enter online here. All entries must be submitted by 31st May 2024
3. All entrants must be available for judging, dates to be advised to shortlisted candidates and will be advertised on our website
4. The 2024 Shop Idol competition is open to anyone who is currently working within a mobile - retail store. Entrants must be employed on or before 1st Jan 2024
5. All candidates must still be employed on 19th September 2024, otherwise they will be eliminated from the competition.
6. The top 20 entrants - as determined by our competition moderator after reviewing the entry forms, will make it through to Round One Judging.
7. These top 20 contestants who have successfully made it through to the judging stage will be named on the Shop Idol website on 5th June 2024
8. Round One Judging will consist of a product knowledge test and 10 minute interview. This will take place on 13th June 2024 and 14th June 2024
9. The top 12 contestants will make it through the mystery shop stage of the judging process. These 12 finalists will be announced on 17th June 2024
10. We work with an external supplier to conduct mystery shops - all candidates' scores will be ranked and the top five will make it through to judging round two.
11. The final five candidates will be announced on 12th August and they will proceed to Round Two Judging.

13. All five contestants will be scored based on their performance during the judging from all rounds
14. The judges scores will rank the contestants
15. The judges' decision is final
16. The final five will face the public vote
17. The public vote will rank the final and combined with the judge's ranking will determine the winner
18. The final five will be invited to the Mobile Industry Awards, and all travel and accommodation for each guest will be arranged
19. The winner will be announced at the Mobile Industry Awards on 19th September 2024
